(no subject)
Well, one of our ratties, Trillian, had surgery today. She had to have a lump removed (most likely benign, but still better to get it out). When we got her back, she seemed rather drugged, falling over a lot, but it was not stopping her trying to scurry everywhere. At the moment, she keeps doing laps in her cage. Her hind body is still dragged a little bit, but we think it is slowly wearing off. She gave us quite a scare when she tried to reach out to the cage and fell out of Tric's arms, and again a while later, when she tried to lean out of the cage, and fell out. It doesn't seem to have hurt her though. She was just sitting there looking like she was saying: "how the hell did I get here? Wasn't I up there before?" We'll be leaving shortly to visit my parents for father's day, and the rats will be coming with us in their travel cage - we'll be keeping an eye on her. Hopefully she'll be a little less drugged tomorrow.
