Posting has been light recently because of trying to get all the medical bills from this past year cleared out and moving into my new abode. The move will probably take the rest of the month, so not much will happen here until February, most likely. I've done some posting from the phonophor, but long posts are a pain to do on it, so most have been just URLs with explanatory comments.
The latest hiccup from LJ had prompted me to try to set up a mirror site for this one, especially since it looks like LJ had lost at least one of my posts. I'll do a Google search for it later, as I do remember the title.
I have also finally picked up a copy of both the Director's Cut of Beowulf and the DVD of Benjamin Bagby's performance of the first third of the poem. As soon as everything else clears up, I'll do a review of both of them. (Microreview in Twitterspeak: both good; movie odd; Bagby awesome - not dull poem.) I saw Valkyrie Sunday and will also review it. (Microreview: worth a look.)
