Fabulous weekend

Another fabulous weekend! (And, thanks to the lovely Commonwealth of Massachusetts, it’s not quite done yet.)

I too went to the Super88, except it was the one in Dorchester. I got the stuff to make roast duck shumai. I'll post something to my journal with a skeleton recipe.

"Men's Pocky"?!?? I've seen Pocky, and the only male-specific uses that come to mind are not ones I feel like discussing now that you've said your parents are listening :)

Anyway: folks looking for asian groceries should not forget asianfoodgrocer . com (where most of the prices are so low they more than make up for the shipping costs...)

Hee-hee. As far as we can tell, what makes it "Men's Pocky" is that it comes with a fuzzy postage-stamp-sized sticker of a fully-clad woman nibbling seductively on a stick of Pocky.

Thanks! I didn't know about that site. I find the baseball-glove chopstick rest amusing. :-) I will definitely remember them. (Actually, I will let LiveJournal remember them for me. :-)
