Any vampire book suggestion?
As I mentioned before, I am buying books for the high school school library. We are talking to ESL students from beginners to perfectly bilingual and I want to focus on intermediate level. I have ordered around 40 books so far but none with vampires. When i ask students what would they like to find in ESL books, I get VAMPIRES! Gee, I cannot stand any vampire anymore except True Blood because I'm already hooked, but Sookie is not appropriate because there are graphic scenes. All in all, I capitulate; So anyone savvy about vampire books? any suggestion? Anne Rice is good but her English is a bit too complex and I'm looking for more teenager style such as Twilight which I can't resolve to buy it even if Meyer's English is very low intermediate. How's Vampire Diaries?
