I chose that journal instead of argyle105 because there are more people on that one, especially non-Americans who think like me. So I’m slowly trying to take contacts with rescue in my province. *breathe in, breathe out* and here is the last episode
So, I started to write on the single forum -about 6 members- on donkeys of my province and this activity is already over after three posts, Yves was right, I shouldn’t have answered right after their first chauvinistic entry where Americans suck, British have no claims on donkey history and bullshit like that on and on, like they were the only one that were right, just crappy crap and hear me here I am censoring myself in terms of choices of words. I could also have their ethnocentric approach and precise that they are French from France and they act like bloody arrogant Frenchies, something you rarely see in Quebec, people in my corner of the world might have no culture, no historical perspective on things but they welcome differences, well a majority of us. So back to those asses and this time I’m not talking about the four-legs, they instruct me that Aussies massacre their donkeys, Americans make big profits out of the burros, Brtish are not really doing much, most of it are half-truth so distorted -especially the American making profits from burro, that one is so out that I don’t know if I should laugh or cry- that I won’t waste my time with them.
Hear me, he makes big sacrifices to help tens of livestock but saying stuff like he does makes me think he doesn’t even read English and repeats whatever he hears that fits with his way of seeing the world and then he wonders how come his initiatives to gather donkey owners don’t work…And on top of it, he told me to stop reading books and get a real life with donkeys, *censored* At least when I say something it comes from people who know what they are talking about. On a more personal level, I do care to not be obnoxious, I don’t talk about my knowledge about donkeys unless asked, knowing too well that books can’t never replace first hands on real life. I was just saying that I admire work done by people all around the world and I got all that shit.
I know it is long for nothing, but I rather write than talk about it, that way I end more relaxed.

EDIT: I spent three months in France and also have chatted with French, Belgian donkey owners on different forums and they were just friendly and generous, so keep in mind I was venting!
