Two days in a row. Wow
So last night I was enjoying the company of my mother when my grandmother managed to call and through the muffled screams told us that she had fallen down the stairs and she thought she broke her leg.... Off to Mon Valley Hospital we go. I swear that everytime I make plans to do something..... there is something in god's path that doesn't want me to be part of it. I did however end up hanging out for a brief moment with my friend Steve and he told me that his grandmother was in the hospital too with double pneumonia. I asked what was wrong to which a classical response was "I dunno, all I know is that shes on the 4th floor, lets go have a martini" I know that hes not as cynical as I make him but we all know that he puts everything in different perspectives.....
So here I am, grandmother getting xrays, his grandmother with Double Pneumonia and us sipping Bubble Gum Martini's and sharing a few glasses of wine. I guess at 145 AM one can be classy and trashy. My mother called a few times but my phone was in the car. She managed to get a hold of me later on in the evening and tell me that my grandmother was going to be fine.
I guess that I knew that she would be which is why I went to drink at 130 because of all the shit that was going on.
In any case, today is Easter. Jesus rolled the stone away and Bob was trying to come out to his parents. hahahaha. Mess for days. I told him that even if his parents didnt want anything to do with him, he still had friends.
At some point today, I'm going to call back everyone that I didn't get to talk to last night because I was in the hospital. Sorry guys, I guess I wasn't thinking. :-/
Oh well, dinner today with the family... including my brother who I haven't seen in about a month and a half.
