Hooookai. So...

So I wake up at some hour this morning for an interview. It's in Columbia between 8:30 to 10:30. I spent some time the night before discussing when to leave today, because there's no point in leaving at like, 8, knowing there will be horribad traffic and I won't make it there 'til 9:15 anyway, so I left at 9:20 to get there at 9:50. I go up to the door, and it's locked. I try a different door. Locked. I wander around the building a bit, then call my dad to get me the phone number for them, and get back into the car. I get the number, and it's like, 10:10 now, I'd say. I call them, and this rather snotty woman answers and says they stop doing interviews at 10:00, so they locked the doors. There's no point in arguing with her and telling her I was there before 10, so I drive home.

Thus ends my morning, my quarter tank of gas, and an hour of my time driving.

So I'm home, piddling around, and I decide to fill out an application for Wachovia as a bank teller in Westminster (25 hours/week) and a roving bank teller for Westminster, Reisterstown, Eldersbug, and some other place... Glyndon? (40 hours/week) I can't do a bank teller position along with a nighttime restaurant position because of the hours, I'd be finished at a bank at 6 or so, which is too late.

I head back out into the wild blue yonder for my interview at 2 at the place in Columbia. Sweat a bit as I'm gliding down a hill on 97 where it's like, 35, but it had seriously just changed from like, 50. I don't brake on that hill, I usually just don't accelerate and let it go down on its own without pulling up short and going 35, and since it's downhill, I usually am going a good 45-50. There's two cop cars on that hill and I was like, eeee... sweated for a little bit about that. I get there at 1:50ish, piddle around in the car for 5 minutes, head inside, end up sitting and waiting for my interview for a good 20-30 minutes, sit down with Ray? Ron? the manager and he asks me questions. I'm done at about 2:40? to 3ish, wander into the mall, buy some Pink lotion and body spray and some hair sticks and whatnot. Meet up with Brandon, headed out for Pho.

My first Pho experience. It was okay. I'd pick Indian or something over it, but it was cheap, so I would eat it again. Although, some of their other dishes looked mighty tasty, too... anyway, had a good lunch/dinner experience with Brandon, went back to the car, deliberated on hanging out 'til after rush hour or trying to beat it home. I hate getting stuck somewhere, so I decided to head home and we'll see Kess next time we hang out and it will be all good.

Now I'm piddling around, wondering where Robert is. Maybe he's working on his project he has to finish before Thursday if we're going to do something that day. I won't pester, if he logs on tonight, he does, if he doesn't, he doesn't, and I need to chill out. Unfortunately it's snowing now, and I'm likely at home all day tomorrow, so I should hurry up and install Fallout 3 to give me something to do.

I tired.
