Mermaids and Hot Springs

Hey guys. I have had a great couple of weeks. Two weeks ago, we were in Great Falls where we had a white Halloween. That was the first time I have ever had snow on Halloween! It was great. I went trick-or-treating with the family I stayed with, who happened to be Jewish. They seriously told me repeatedly as the week progressed, "Eat, eat! You're skin and bones!" That is a lie, but at least it didn't make me feel bad for eating all of their kosher goodies.

In Great Falls there is a lounge called the Sip-N-Dip where they hire girls to dress like mermaids on the weekends (Mermans are there Thursday night [but that is Grey's night]). It was fun watching them swing under the water. The manager of the lounge was the father of one of our students, so we got three large drinks on the house. It was fantastic!

Last week, we were in a town called Ennis. It was fantastic, one of our better weeks. We got to work out for free at a gym, we had food delivered to us every night by a different family, and we had an amazing cast. Also, another tour team was in the area, so we hung out with them Friday night in some naturally hot springs. The water was 97 degrees but the air outside of the water was 27 degrees, and very very very windy. Last night, we went to the cabin they were staying in and drank Mike's hard, played really competitive rounds of pounce, and smoked Swisher Sweets. It was great seeing them.
