Bento content: rice, vegetarian curry.
That was a real pleasure for the mouth, as vegetables in Chile are so much tastier then in Europe. The ingredients can make sucha difference!
Curry: 1/2 banana, 1/4 of apple, 1 carrot, 1/2 potato, 1 stack of celery, 1 tomato, 1/2 oinion, 3 tblp of cooked lens, a handful of sultanas,1 tsp of ginger, 1tsp of curry, 1/2 tsp of cinnamon, 1 cup of coco milk, 2 cups of water, 1 tsp of olive oil.
Peal the carrot and the potato. Cut the carrot into big slices and dice the potato, slice the onion.
Cut the stalk of celery into pieces. Dip the tomato in boiling water so you can peal the tomato and then take the seeds out of the tomato, and dice it.
Peal and slice the apple, cut the banana into big pieces.
Heat the oil, the spices, add the potato, the carrot and the onion for 2 min.
Then, add the the coco milk, and the other ingredients except the banana.
Cook for fifteen minutes (add water if necessary).
Add the banana and cook for five more minutes.
Serve with rice.
I just enjoyed so much this curry, it's so tasty. And the banana and apple just adds a sweet touch I love.
