Character: Benjamin “Ben” Tennyson
Series: Ben 10 series
Character Age: 16
Canon: One summer when Ben was ten, an extraterrestrial watch called the Omnitrix attached itself to his arm. Now equipped with what is considered one of the most powerful weapons in the universe, Ben has the power to transform into a variety of different alien species. Six years later, Ben, along with both his cousin and his best friend, continues to protect all of space from any evil that dares threaten it. However, now he has the added pressure of his secret identity becoming public knowledge, although he’s not really complaining about all the fan mail that it generated.

Ben is, and always will be, a little kid at heart. He has all the basic traits of one-he’s easily excitable about the things he cares about, optimistic, and generally full of energy. On the downside, he’s impulsive, reckless, and has a tendency to be lazy about anything that doesn’t interest him. Ben also has a very high opinion of himself, and really enjoys basking in the limelight. This makes him come off as rather conceited for the most part. Despite all of this, he takes his job extremely seriously, and is actually pretty intelligent when the time calls for it. He would do anything to help another, and he cares a lot about people. It’s just very easy to forget that when he’s busy talking about how awesome he is.

Note: Big Chill is an alien he can transform into.

Ah, the midwest! Home of monster tractor rallies and questionable smells. I had no idea that I was so popular here. I mean, obviously I’m big everywhere, but in cow country? Just wait until the guys back home hear about this turnout. Enough about them though, let’s go straight into business. All right, ladies and mystical creatures, the line for my autograph starts here! A few simple rules to keep in mind: No pushing, no skipping, and no throwing these babies out afterward because that is really hurtful. But if everyone behaves nicely, then you’ll all get a piece of me. Please note that that’s not in the literal sense, and anyone who actually tries to remove any articles of clothing or body parts from me will be getting the snot kicked out of them. Hopefully that is also not in the literal sense, because ew, zomboogers.

You guys didn’t come all the way to this camp just for autographs though. You want to hear hero stories! And luckily for you, I’m the number one man to provide them. Not even the tabloids know about this one yet. So, picture this: There I was, a new arrival in this not-so-humble abode. To my left was a tentacle monster that I may or may not have to beat up later; to my right, a young gorilla that was in the middle of making a friendship bracelet for a zombie. It was a scene so beautiful it almost brought a tear to my eye. Before I could properly appreciate the cross-genre relationship, I heard a scream in the distance! Not one to ignore cries for help, I sped off to go save the day. Apparently so much snow had piled on top of the volcano, an avalanche started! Or something like that, I’m not actually sure of all the details there-anyway! So now there were tons of snow racing towards camp. Toucans were flying out of the way. Those cute little creatures with the red ball noses huddled together in fear. Random bystanders remained stuck under mistletoe. It looked like all hope was indeed lost.

Or it would have been if I wasn’t so awesome. Without a second to spare, I changed into Big Chill and froze all of the incoming snow with my ice breath. Camp was saved from becoming a winter deaderland! I mean, yeah, so now there’s kind of a bunch of frozen snow looming over everything, but we can deal with that later. It’ll have to melt eventually, right? And when it does it’ll be like having your own gigantic swimming pool in the corn fields. So, actually, that’s two things I should be getting thanked for here. And I know that hearing about such heroic deeds can leave someone a little nervous, but don’t worry, adoring fans! With me around, you never have to worry about getting . . . cold feet.

Yeeeeeaaaah!
