I have a very pretty new MacBook now, after my desktop exploded*.
It's worth mentioning the incompetence of UPS in getting this computer. Package tracking tells me that this is how it got here (expedited shipping!):
Shanghai (delayed there for 2 days)
Alaska
Georgia
Alaska
Fort hope, ON (near Hamilton)
Kentucky
Fort Hope, ON
Ottawa (missorted and sent to the wrong part of ottawa before eventually delivered).
I'm particularly confused about its detour to Kentucky, but all in all I'm amazed it got here at all.
*that is to say that the motherboard gave up working, or something to that effect.
