There was a copy of Metro open on the bus floor today.
In it, there was a headline which ended in a question mark.
fuckers.

I wouldn't mind the free dailies so much if they at least tried.

They don't. Did you see the wrap-around, see-through, "innovative" Rogers cell phone ad that covered the front page of Dose a year or so back?

I didn't see that. It sounds horrid, though.
Dose, though, at least did not present itself as a newspaper.
Metro not only presents itself that way, but advertises as the only newspaper you need.

You would think that asking a question would make anyone just passing by it think about it or something...

But by putting the question mark there, it implies that it's true, without actually saying so.

Maybe in editorial content (metro has none, incidentally, eugh), but not in hard news.
