The Devil Beside You
Zomg, I'm procrastinating up the wazzoo! 8D
I have finals next week and I haven't even started studying. I'm going to do so right now...right after I post this entry. lol
Well...I was in the painterly mood yesterday and whipped this picture up. I think it's a step up from what I'm used to drawing. It's a portrait of Kristoph Gavin. I think that guy is waaaaay too pretty for his own good...though I dunno if my drawing reflects that. xD

LOL. Now all I need is a bronze plate in the middle of the frame that reads "Kristoph Gavin". xD I would do that...but I dunno how to draw it in photoshop...
I think I had too much fun with this drawing. It was just supposed to be a quick practice....but yeah...this is what came to be. I started this pic yesterday, and touched it up today. I actually thought I had 100% finished it yesterday until I pulled up the png after I came back from class today and was like "omfg, this is such shit", and had to revise it [The original is laughable] I wanted to give him a really canvas painterly-feel. I hope I succeeded. I also hope it looks like Kristoph. .__.
The photo effects and frame were actually done on Flickr. I'm really starting to love that photo/image hoster/store-er. It's better than photobucket. :D
Here's the original image without the frame and effects. xD It doesn't look nearly as cool though. I think I'm gonna draw the entire Apollo cast like this, but with a bit more flare.
I'm also feeling REALLY really ambitious all of the sudden. I was reading through fanfiction.net and came across and really good fic. While I was reading, I thought to myself, "this fic would make a nice comic". So that's what I'm gonna do. Draw out a fanfic. Oh what has come over me. XD
I know I still have stuff to draw for my awesome peeps. I haven't forgotten. :D Just let me have my fix for the moment...lol...
