updating
Wahey I've caught up with LJ.
I didn't read merlinxarthur for a couple days and got stuck trying to catch up with all the fics. Now I have merlinadvent to read as well, but will catch up with that another day.
So what have I been burning to tell you all?
I have a new fandom *squees and bounces* As the above may have told you, its BBC's Merlin. Its great. Its shippy, there is great boy loving. *squees more*.
I haven't been soooo into a show since Farscape and it feels great (apart from the whole reading lots of fic until I realise its 3am or I'm running late for work, but lets not talk about that!)
And I have been sharing the Merlin love. Which makes me bounce even more when I watch/hear from people as they watch the eps. Lis, Kel, Becka and Emma have been conquered. If you haven't yet seen it go to the bbc's i player and watch it. It really is pretty and funny with dark bits and ooooo shippyness. And it has shippy dragons! *grins madly*
Apart from geeking out what have I been up to?
Madly trying to get things sorted for xmas. I have so much I need to get sorted. Presents and cards etc. Aswell as finally getting this house unpacked. I've made some headway there, the geeky room is unpacked and starting to look the way I want it to. Need to get another cabinet for my action figures (oooo will they make Merlin ones?????? *bounces and crosses fingers*) and a chair in there. Also have got the fruit sorted for cake and have a mead and spiced mead popping away in the kitchen :-D really can't wait to try the spiced mean.
Found out more depressing news on the health front. My bones seem to be fine now, but the liver still isn't good. Have a blood test next week to see if its getting better or worse before they decide what to do. Also have found out I have high colestrol(sp?) so bye bye nice food :-( I like nice foods :-( Finally got an xray done on my knees so I am hoping that that shows up something. Maybe I can go into the new year feeling healthy rather than ill?
Ooooo and we got snow. First snow was yesterday followed by bitter cold today. Not looking forward to working at the shop tonight with no heating. Think I will be wearing multiple layers.
Ok think that is all. Better actually get myself off to town now, see if I can get to the shops before work.
