I dig the genre bonus. I was running a d20 Modern adaptation of The Matrix, and this rule would have been really handy.

(I ended up doing a similar rule, where everyone described their outfits whenever jacking in, and the best outfit got a +2 bonus to some adaptation-specific skills.)
