So, Syd let me know that
sarajbell had the
Torquere Live Journal and was talking about cooking and sharing recipes and had even said "I imagine Dr. Fell could cook up something kinda spicy. For some reason, I picture Twink making cupcakes

I could go on for hours, but I'll just send some pictures and mention a few things Dr. Fell would appreciate. The rose in my picture isn't actually a Neyron rose, which looks like this: http://www.ces.ncsu.edu/depts/hort/consumer/factsheets/roses/paulneyron.htm.
I didn't write down which ones I was taking pictures of that day, but it's really either this one: http://www.heirloomroses.com/cgi-bin/browse.cgi?page=item&cat=2&item=472 or this one: http://www.anniesannuals.com/plants/plant_display.asp?prodid=2967&account=none or this one: http://www.ces.ncsu.edu/depts/hort/consumer/factsheets/roses/ispahan.htm.
I have a tattoo of an English rose (http://www.heirloomroses.com/cgi-bin/browse.cgi?page=item&cat=12&item=433), except mine is colored brighter pink.
Dr. Fell would probably be interested to hear that I have the roses which are most likely the Red Rose of Lancaster (http://www.heirloomroses.com/cgi-bin/browse.cgi?page=item&cat=6&item=404) and the White Rose of York (http://www.ces.ncsu.edu/depts/hort/consumer/factsheets/roses/albasemiplena.htm) on opposite sides of my herb garden.
I have another mentioned by Shakespeare, the sweet briar or eglantine: http://www.antiqueroseemporium.com/rose-121.html. The leaves smell like apples, but I shouldn't have planted it so close to the house, because it's about eight feet tall and five feet wide now. It would be a great project for bad boys to prune.
So I really do have a lot of pink roses. It's pretty in late May when they bloom.
