Huge rage

Okay, so I've never played FFXI at all in my life. In fact, I never gave too much thought into it. I mean, I never really like MMOs so much.
That was, until I found out the latest version with all expansions was out for just $20.
Yeah, $20. I had to rush to buy it.
And so I did, and I was excited to start it up.

I pop it in my 360 and told it to install.
...
"Sorry, this game does not support installation."
Okay, that's weird, I was told I need to install, let's try just running it.
"Sorry, this game is the wrong region."
Ah crap, I hate it when I buy games without thinking that factor through.
So I do what anyone else would do and go back to Gamestop to return.

"I'd like to return this."
"It's opened, you can't return this."
"But I just bought it an hour ago. Check the disc, it's perfect."
"Store policy."
...
"Okay, what about that trade in?"
"Let me check it's price."
*she searches*
"I'm sorry, but the only Final Fantasy XI in my database is for the PS2."
"Wait, what?"
"It can't be traded in."
"Wait hold on why?"
"It's because it's online."
...
... *insert a few more pointless arguing with the cashier here*
"Damnit... this sucks."

So, what have I learned? The obvious check before I buy. That I should've questioned why FFXI PS2 could be traded in but not FFXI 360. That I should be thankful that there are people who might buy this from me.
But still, that WAS frustrating.
