40% Clairvoyant, 9% Claiaudient, 37% Intuitive, 18% Clairsentient
Congratulations! While you posses all four of the psychic senses
(Clairvoyance, Clairaudience, Clairsentience, and Intuition), most
people are dominant in one or two. By consulting your score, you can
pinpoint what senses are most likely to result in accurate psychic
predictions. Peter Sanders, the MIT scientist whose work this test is
based on, tells us about the various senses: Clairvoyance, meaning
"clear sight", "is a form of ESP that expresses itself as a picture,
image, or visual expression. Traditionally, it is associated with
receiving visual insights either through meditation, through dreams,
or... through visual premonitions." To access Clairvoyance, close your
eyes and direct your attention to the area of your forehead known as
the third-eye. Relax and observe any images that flit through your
mind.
Clairaudience, meaning, "clear hearing", "involves the reception of
extrasensory signals as a word, sound, or some form of language. A
clairaudient impression is an inner hearing, often quite similar to
what you hear in your mind when you talk to yourself." To access
Clairaudience, direct your attention to an area approximately one inch
over your ears. Pay attention to any sounds or thoughts that flit
through your attention. Intuition, "is the fastest and most unlimited
of the psychic senses... (While) the future is the hardest thing to
sense psychically because it contains a virtual infinity of
possibilities, intuition instantly sorts though them and essentially
compiles a summary." To access your intuition, place your attention an
inch or so over the top of your head. Quick flashes of insight are the
likely results of success.
Clairsentience, meaning, "clear feeling", "is the most common and easy
to develop of the Psychic senses. It's that feeling of butterflies when
you sense the dog around the corner just before it starts barking, or
that knot in your stomach before a stressful interview." To access your
Psychic Feeling, pay attention the entire abdomen, especially around
the navel. Expect subtle sensations from this area.
Now that you know what psychic sense comes most naturally to you, and
how to access it, you are in a position to exercise and strengthen your
innate abilities. To experiment with your dominant psychic sense, try
the following exercise.
1. Relax, sit or lay down in a comfortable position. Close your eyes,
and focus your attention on the area between your belly button and
solar plexus. This area corresponds to the feeling area most often
associated with a "gut instinct, and with good reason. Allow your
attention to sit here for a minute. Notice how your consciousness
actually seems to "shift" to your surroundings. Rest here a moment and
note any impressions you receive.
2. Think of a friend you know, who you can contact within the next day
or so. Think of three questions you would like to ask about that
person, and write them down. 3. Close your eyes, shift your attention
to the point around your belly as before, and one by one ask a question
about them mentally or out loud. Note each feeling next to the
corresponding question on the piece of paper. 4. Do not try to analyze
the feelings while you are receiving them. Simply record them and move
on to the next question on the piece of paper. For example, "1 sad, 2
ticklish." etc. 5. When you have finished all three, try to call your
friend and see if your impressions told you anything about their state
of mind, or any activities they were participating in.
