Begging the Sky for Lightning Bolts/Bugs
I just finished my boards. According to livejournal, it's been 21 weeks since my last post. The hiatus has been pretty lonely and kind of surreal. I used to write to maintain my center and now, I realized that center was as fictitious as any sort of belief I had. Breaking it down, just to build it back up again, isn't that always the case?
Well, they're releasing me out of the bull pen and letting me go into clerkships in the coming two weeks. Instead of learning about being a doctor I am going to have the opportunity to actually "play" doctor. It's been two years since I started medical school and I still don't quite understand the entire medical school experience. It's hard without context and I think I know what the context will be.
Mm, I am not sure that I'm ready to start posting again and if I am not then ti's fine. The new Alkaline Trio album is coming out and the buzz on the intrawebs is that their new sound is a lot like their old sound, except that it doesn't have so much of Matt Skiba's older and more drug-induced lyrics. Well, once a fan, always a fan. I will be buying the record when it comes out. Deluxe edition.
There are just some things I just can't shake, Alkaline Trio's just one of those bands.
