Let's go to the mall!! quinichet November 21 2006, 18:08:54 UTC
That was the funniest thing ever! Wow.

Congrats on the 10 pounds. I'm not exactly a fast food junkie (though I still eat it too much), I'm just trying to exercise. I've lost about 7 pounds. Good luck with Jenny...my mom had success with it a few years ago. I'd try it now, but its costs so much. And have you ever watched Morgan Spurlock's show, 30 Days? It is really good, he takes the same concept from Super Size Me and applies it to lots of other things (jail, minimum wage, etc.). It has opened my eyes about a lot of different stuff (like I had no idea that muslim is based on Judaism). And my mom is having a similar experience with Fast Food Nation (which I really need to read/ go see).

Sorry to hear about the job situation, that sucks, but, at least you like where you work. That can go a long way. :)

I just started getting into Heroes, holy crap! Its so much better than I thought it would be. Haven't watched Jericho, but I'm hearing a lot of good stuff about it - I may have to check it out. Have I thanked you yet for convincing me to watch Supernatural? I have some new boys to dream about now :)

Welcome back! I totally understand the need for the laziness every now and then...as, I do it a lot!

I think I was singing "Let's go to the mall!!" all day yesterday!! And I can't seem to delete that episode from my TiVo. I think the ending where they're watching the video is just priceless and I can't stop watching it! Did you go online to see the whole video? http://www.myspace.com/robinsparkles Go there, if you haven't, it's priceless.:)

Thanks for the kudos on the weight loss and Jenny stuff. I go in for my third weigh-in today, so I'll see if I've lost any more. Next week is really going to mess me up because I'm planning on just letting go on Thanksgiving, but I'll try to go right back on the Jenny food afterward. You're right about the cost, though. Ultimately, it's an investment in my health, but it really is starting to add up. Not just what I'm paying Jenny Craig, but I seem to go through my produce like crazy so I'm constantly going to the store to stock up on stuff and THAT is really starting to add up! But it's still better than sinking my money into fast food/take out every day/night.

I feel a bit better about the job situation after yesterday. I sat down with my supervisor and told her how much my current workload has increased and it sounds like she and our boss are going to try to divide up my co-worker's work who just went on maternity leave. That made me feel a little better. I had been feeling like it was being taken for granted that they could just keep giving me work on top of work to do and I was really starting to resent them for it. But it sounds like they realize I'm already maxed out and can't really take on much more at this point and are going to try to fill in as much themselves as possible. So that's good...for now, at least.

Heroes is a cool show. I'm really liking it. And I love the episodes that Greg Grunberg and Clea Duvall are in!! They're great together and I love seeing her in such a different role.

And you're very welcome about Supernatural...yep, that's sure a fun hour of television right there.:) The ep with Linda Blair kinda weirded me out 'cause I kinda have a thing about the Exorcist, but I survived through it...
