Back In Business
Well, well, well. Long time no type-and-post. I'm back here in LA for school once again. Yes, yes. This is my second year at UCLA.
For those who don't know me or just haven't kept in touch, here are some random biographical tidbits:
I'm 19 (20 on December 21st)
I'm from the Bay Area - grew up in Oakland, moved to Castro Valley in 7th grade
I'm a Music Major specializing in Saxophone Performance, but may switch to Music Education later this year
I have a mother, father, and two younger brothers - one, a current high school grad who plans to go to UC Santa Cruz at a later, unspecified date; the other, a freshman at the esteemed Castro Valley High, famous for its Confederate flags and race riots
I have been dating Carolyn for almost two years (on November 27th), and she is now attending UC Santa Barbara as a first year
My favorite band is The Beatles, although jazz is my favorite type of music.
I am a "pansy-ass, left-wing, radical nutso" according to some, but I consider myself "normal"
I am in a fraternity called Pi Kappa Phi (I joined last Spring)
I read anything about jazz, Dragonlance, the future, or considered to be a "classic"
I play a TON of board games and card games. A TON. Ask me and we'll play sometime.
