Upon my departure from home..
I thought i should share some thoughts about LE.
Well, if you're from LE, these are just my thoughts. I'm not gonna belt out a list of names, but just generalities. Don't get all pissed off at me, you chose to read it. :)
When i first started working there.. i was warned of the 'drama'. I didn't really bother with it, because i figured it wasnt a big deal. But lo and behold, it didnt take long for my eyes to be opened.
For you Non-LE people, Laser Edge is composed of four layers. The foundation is Dave, the owner. Interesting guy, knows the exact price of every single item in the place. layer (2) is the employees. That's Rich, Brittany, Jason, and Dan (used to be me). The third layer is the regulars, those who actually spend nearly every day within LE's walls. and the topmost layers is the walk-ins. the customers. Eh, they dont matter.
My advice for the girls: Don't waste your time on LE guys.
My advice for the guys: Don't waste your time on the LE girls.
As soon as i entered the door, i was now prey to all of the female regulars. I was "the new guy". the "fresh meat". The girls were so desperate for a new guy, that i was the thing.
now that dan's come in, i've seen it happen yet again. The new guy. All the girls flocked to him. It was kinda sad. But it kind of makes one wonder.. did they ever actually care?
Girls.. don't waste your time on those guys. you'll find out why in a second.
LE guys: Now, i am one of your kindred. a fellow man. But for god's sake, listen to me. There's a thing called common sense. A thing called respect.
Girls aren't meat. They're people, and they deserve to be respected. So *gasp* stop drooling all over them. Get to know them instead of planning on how to get into their pants. and here's something good to go buy: if she's more than two years younger than you, WAIT!
Well, onto the gossip issue.
We have a HUGE gossip issue. If something happens, we just can't shut our mouths about it. I'm included in this. If people have a problem, we should let THEM work it out, and not talk about it to other people.. It only makes things worse as we've seen time and time again.
We need to stop dissing on people, too. What good are we if we only tear eachother down? A wise man once said "We were made to build eachother up.." So let's stop dissing and start supporting eachother.. It will change LE..
and jeez. stop complainging about what happened in the game. It just drags everyone down. It's just a game.
If you're from LE and you want to know what i really think about you, ask. But be ready. I'm giving positive and negative. I love you all, and i only answer in love. don't get mad at me for what i say about your negatives, it's just my observations. Don't let it change our friendship.
ALL of you are my friends, and i care about you all. Let's be mature about this, though. I'm just trying to make LE better for all of us..
