Ok, so ATF was awesome yet again, and by the way KUTLESS ROCKS MY SOCKS OFF, but anyways there was some much needed bonding time between the youth group and the college kids and I think everybody involved ended up being very pleased with the results of the weekend.If nothing else but because it was our first chance to proove that the two groups spending time together was fine and that we could not only co-exist, but flourish.And flourish we did, I think it even got the attention of the youth pastor who in his sermon tonight definitely made special note of our group and called attention to the special difficulties that many of us have due to our transitional point in life.
Two interesting statistics:
4% of the current group of teenagers in america are praticing christians
90% of all christians are saved before age 20
This means we're way behind on bringing our friends to christ.Our generation accounts for 36% of all the people in the world.If we don't save each other, then who is going to save our kids?The previous generation was 36% christian at the same point, at this rate I'm kinda scared of where we may be headed pretty soon.
Anyway, that was just a sidebar,no need to preach the numbers pretty much say it.Overall it was an enlightening weekend.Apparently I'm also the world's most humongous flirt too and I had no idea.No wonder girls always either wanna date me or they run away from me, I'm scaring them off.
