I HAVE A JOB!
I'm the new dishwasher/light-prep gal at a restaurant near where I live. It's hard work, and an 8-hour job...but considering I want to be a pastry chef, this is a good start.
Yesterday was my first day...and gods was I tired and sore when I got home...but I guess that's a good thing. I like being useful, I like earning my pay...and I sure as hell did yesterday. Caught up on the mountainload of work that was left me when no one expected me to.
Had the little 21 year old hitting on me though...that was not cool. I blatantly ignored his advances...Next time he comes over to try and 'help' me with my job, I'm going to look at him and go 'I think you're needed on the line.' Where he's SUPPOSED to be. -palms forehead-
