Just sent this letter in to the Washington Post. I'll keep y'all posted on any reply I don't get.

Concerning the Warrantless Wiretapping of American Citizens

Dear Sir,

It must be made clear to the general public that the wiretapping of Americans without a warrant is not the typical Capitol Hill scandal. It must be made clear that while Clinton was impeached for attempting to cover up a moral infidelity, Bush is openly admitting that he has committed an infidelity upon the American people. The courts have previously established what action is consitutional and once more this administration has disregarded the judicial branch, instead confidently bluffing their way into getting their way. He has violated his oath to uphold, defend, and execute the Constitution of the United States of America and the laws of the land. He is in open rebellion against the principle of the division of powers and needs to be censured by the people. It is still We the People who have final say on who sits in Washington, and as soon as the population of this great country know precisely who has been hurt and insulted here -- they themselves -- they surely will hold the current administration accountable for their breach of the Social Contract. Please do not let up on the criticism of the administration's actions. Keep the burner on high.

Sincerely,
Bennett W. N. Mace
