It's been ages since I did this meme. And since reallycorking and pennswoods have done it, I need to do it again. Because I'm a fad-lover.

1. My username is bennmorland because my name is Benn, and when I made my Hotmail account in 1998, I was reading a book series by Cynthia Harrod-Eagles called the Morland Dynasty (shocolate is also a fan of the series, and actually made a family tree/spiral/AWESOME of the entire Morland dynasty). The series follows a family from its Yorkshire origins in 1415 until the present day. At least, this is the plan. Ms. Harrod-Eagles is still writing them after nearly thirty years. They're wonderful, truly wonderful.
2. & 3. My journal is titled "Call it what you will" and subtitled "Call it a cocoon crash" because K's Choice's "Cocoon Crash", from which both are taken, speaks to me on far too deep a level.
4. My friends page is called "TEH FRENDz IZ HRE!" because I haven't changed it since I called it that in a silly pique almost two years ago.
5. My default userpic is
because I came up with it, youslipthrough made it for me, and I find it amusing. It's also a sharp critique of the truly nonsensical nature of ship wars. Yeah, right; I'm just odd.
