Yay! Parents suck.
Guess who just called and asked me to go to lunch with her and her family? Yes, Genne. {Not her immediate family, by the way. they hate me. I made their daughter gay. Hah! She's been gay since before I could talk!}
So I asked my mommy if I could go. She said she wasn't "down with it" or something to that effect. The thing with my mom is odd, because she obviously favors Genne compared to my other friends. She knows that we're dating. She doesn't like it. I can't go.
She also plainly stated that if it had been Chris {my ex-boyfriend}, she would have let me go. Oh, the joys of having ignorant parents.
I suppose I'm lucky I haven't gotten kicked out, or something to that extent. I know it could always be worse, but I'm just.... dissappointed.
