Kyuhyun groans. The sunlight is piercing his blinds on the window, and he hate it how the warmth is waking him up. He tosses his comforter, and turns to his left, avoiding the sunlight, when he sees Sungmin’s naked back. He smiles and nuzzles deeper into Sungmin’s back, and sniffs the scent that is always lingering on Sungmin’s delicate skin.

If he tell people that he is in love with a man; they would say that he is crazy. If he adds the facts that it is the same man for more than ten fucking years, they will probably shoot themselves or drown each other in the Han river.

If people asks, ‘what is it that you like so much about this Sungmin guy?’, his answer would be ‘everything’, he is sure about that. he loves the way Sungmin speaks, how he controls his breathing so that no one will know he is nervous, and the way he twirls his hair a bit when he is searching for the right word to say.

He loves the way Sungmin smiles. How the ends of the beautifully curved lips curls up whenever he found something that amuses him, or when he is trying to comfort anyone. How Sungmin bites his lower lip unconsciously and let Kyuhyun see the sexy upper lip teasing him.
He runs his fingers down Sungmin’s forearm, racing them against one another, as if they are moving on their own. Sungmin giggles, and opens his eyes. Quickly he turns around and locks Kyuhyun under his arm. “Morning, Kyuhyun.”

“Morning, Sungmin. Wait.” Confused, Sungmin can feel his arms lifted from Kyuhyun’s neck and it is now Kyuhyun’s hands that are palming his face. “What is it?”

“I knew it. Your eyes are beautiful as always, because...”

Sungmin blushes, but he dares himself to ask, when Kyuhyun answers;

“Because they are always looking at me.”

And Sungmin wants to kiss him first for today.

She can feel the tears in her eyes flowing down her cheeks. She always knew the fact that she is not the first love Kyuhyun had. It was impossible even to think that she is the first.

The first time they met, she never thought her client would be her high school idol. The face that was used to fill her bedroom now can be seen just anytime she wanted too. She was the one who insisted to go out and had lunch together with Kyuhyun whenever the man wanted to discuss about the property he bought under her company. And she never thought Kyuhyun would easily says yes when she asked him out, like young teenagers in a puppy love story, where the boy was cool and the girl was all cheeky.

“Don't apologize. I will hate you if you say ‘I’m sorry’ right now.” Kyuhyun slowly nods, and opens the door behind him. But before he closes;

“You are a good woman, and I truly loved you, still loving you, but not as how I loves him.”

“You’re losing a fangirl here, Cho Kyuhyun-shi. I’m going to make sure there will be thousands of anti-cafes about you after tonight.” Kyuhyun smiles, runs back inside, tousles her hair, hugs her and whispers;

“Even with them I’m still too hot to be resists sweetheart. Take care.”

She snickers when Kyuhyun left. His footsteps sound eerie. She hated it everytime Kyuhyun left her house, because she was always afraid Kyuhyun will never come back to her.

Now she doesn’t have to worry anymore, because Kyuhyun is definitely not coming back this time. She knew she was never the main character in this love story, but does the main actor need to be so cruel?

iii.

The first time she heard about the name was on their first night. When Sungmin was inside her. But she ignored it, because she did realize
that she was not his first love.

The second time she heard about the name, and knew the face was when a song came out, and Sungmin smiled like an idiot looking at the singer with brown hair. He pointed at the screen and told her his name times and times again. She ignored that because she knew he was a band mate of her husband.

The third time she heard the name, knew the face, and talked to him was when she was seeing a younger guy for fun because Sungmin was always busy. The guy came and talked to her, saying how she shouldn’t do this and go back to Sungmin. Because he was annoying, and she was angry, she forgot all about him the next day.

The fourth time she heard the name, knew the face, but didn't talk to him was when they were preparing for separation and how to take care of Ji Sook. The guy asked her to be more relevant and patient, because Sungmin is a stubborn person, but delicate, and determined. She didn't take the advice because she thought that she didn't need that anymore.

The fifth time she heard about the name, and knew the face but didn't talk to him was when Ji Sook begged her to let her follow his dad to go to Greece. She didn't have any problem with that, so she let her go. After they came home, Ji Sook sounded so happy about what happened in Greece that she just had to ask about it.

“Didn't you know, mommy? Daddy was having his wedding there! The place is so cool because it was an open altar and everyone was cheering for daddy and his groom.”

She thought she heard that wrong. But she just knew it, even if it was real, it must’ve been that guy. So she just doesn’t have to worry for Sungmin. He was loved from the start, even when he was so clueless.
