“Aaaaaa~~~aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhh!!”
Leeteuk bet for his life on the line, that if he had a timer in his hand at that time, that would be the longest sissy scream that Donghae ever let out. Yawning, since it was only two in the morning, he dragged his feet towards the younger man’s room, turned the doorknob to the left, and flung the door open, only to find Donghae standing and jumping on his messed up bed, showing a face that was even more childish than a child itself.
“You better prepare a good reason for waking me up at this hour, Lee Donghae.” Hands on hips, and he stared at the scared guy in a pair of blue pyjama with dancing bears printed on it. Donghae wasn’t answering, yet while he was hugging a Nemo plush in his right arm (property of Lee Hyukjae, who apparently wasn’t there at the moment) his left arm was stretched towards a little space behind the closet, trembling hard, moving up and down, and Leeteuk couldn’t help but to move his head following the finger.
“Mm - mm...”
“Mmmm? What?”
“Mickey... there’s a Mickey behind the closet...”
He uttered softly when he heard the elder’s strict voice toughen. Leeteuk went over the closet, and bent to see if there was really a ‘Mickey’ at the said spot. Just then, a squeaking sound was heard.
“Chi~iiiiiitttt~~!!!”
And Leeteuk swore under his breath when Donghae jumped from the bed abruptly onto his aging back. He thought he heard a few of his bones cracked.
“Hyung!! Hyung!! See, I told you so~!!! I’m scared hyung!! This is all Hyukjae’s fault! If only he cleaned up all the junks that he ate before, our room wouldn’t be owned by the devil!!"
Devil?
“Donghae-ah, it’s just a mice...”
“Don't say that hyung!! It’ll doubled the numbers!!”
0.0001 seconds passed and he could feel a warm hand was cupping his mouth. No scratch that. A sweaty, chocolaty smelt hand was cupping his mouth. Leeteuk snapped. He pulled the hand from his face, twisted Donghae’s arm to his back, and smacked the latter’s forehead.
“Don't put the blame on others. This is your room too, right? Why don't you help him to tidy it up a little bit while he’s gone?? And yes, Lee Donghae, it was actually because of your filthy hands that the mice came and greeted you!”
Donghae pulled his own hand to his nose, and grinned like an idiot.
“Mianhe, hyung.”

The sunlight came too early for Leeteuk, since he slept for only a few hours last night. This morning when he entered the kitchen, Ryeowook was cooking fried rice with minced meats in it; a recipe left by Hankyung before he went back to China.
“Smells good.” Ryeowook turned, and smiled. Leeteuk started to wonder how this forever magnae can become so beautiful these last few periods, yet he wasn’t too happy when his mind roamed about other things and stopped at Donghae’s stupid scream last night. And speak of the devil, the said annoying guy entered the kitchen, showing off his teeth telling the two people in there that he had brushed them nicely.
He then thanked Leeteuk for the last night, with a soft ‘mianhe’ at the end.
Leeteuk clucked his tongue, he was too pissed with Donghae. He put down the glass of milk that he had been gulping down his throat earlier, and walked near Ryeowook, peeking inside the almost done dish in the pan.
“Make sure the meat is cooked perfectly.” Ryeowook nodded. Donghae too was curious of the dish prepared by Ryeowook that he peeked next to Leeteuk. He felt as if the atmosphere around Leeteuk wasn’t as friendly as always, so he tried to have another conversation.
“What kind of meat, hyung? It smells nice to me.”
Grinning, Leeteuk patted his shoulders, and walked out of the kitchen. Without even looking back, he answered;
“Home-bred mice. Fresh from EunHae’s room.”
Donghae gulped the lump in his throat.
Ryeowook was singing happily.
Five minutes later, the dish was on the table, with the hungry members surrounding it like flies over a carcass.
Except for Donghae.
