Once Elizabeth had relayed her news to Mr Darcy -- and such happy news it was, such that they thrilled in it for the better part of the morning! -- she had to tell her sister, for they had often spoken of Elizabeth's desire to start a family as soon as possible. Besides Mr Darcy, Jane was the person that Elizabeth most wanted to share her happiness with more than anyone. And so after leaving her husband to contemplate his impending fatherhood, she went in search of her sister so that she might share the most wonderful and welcome news.
