Sad To See The Weekend End.....
So this past weekend, although technically while the weekend ended for you yesterday. Today was my last weekend day. I bet some of you are playing your mini Volin for me. :) This weekend, I went to the Writers Women Retreat. It's held every February and this is my second year to attend. I really hope I can go every year until I can't for some reason and it better be for a good reason.
I won't go into detail because otherwise this will be a super long blog post. I will say though there were some great speakers and great writers. I always enjoy meeting other writers. Plus, I love the fact for our work in progress session, for example. We had me, the urban fantasy writer. There was also someone writing a religious piece and we had your romance writer. It's great that we can meet and enjoy each others writing. No matter the genre. There was so much to learn and I wish I could have had more time to learn more tips, prompts, etc. You can never stop learning.
Would it be wrong for me to ask if it's February 2014 yet?
