Miss Independent...Deal with it

So I came to the conclusion that I will not state any of my views when it comes to politics. I have already seen too many fights on Facebook that I don't even want to bother. People need to take a step back and realize everyone has their own opinion. You might not agree but guess what? They are still your friend for a reason.

There have been times I want to say something but I don't. I know if I were to comment, they would throw a fit and tell me how it is.

I've always been an Independent. I don't think I could ever go and register as a Democratic or even a Republican. I disagree with both parties and I also agree with both of them.

Friends of mine range from Republican and Democratic. Guess what, I love them equally. I support all of them with their opinions. If I end up telling them my opinion and they don't like it? That's fine. I draw the line though when they tell me I'm an idiot. When that happens? I'll give my opinion again and I'll have a few words for them. When I do tell them how I feel, I love when they get mad. Do you ever notice how when you tell someone "too bad," how angry they get? If they still want to be my friend after that, great. If not. I discovered the type of person they really are.

Why am I bringing this up? I'm just getting sick of people arguing. Yes, we need change. But just sitting there and arguing? What good does that do? If you have a problem with how things are going? Do something. Fix the problem. Yes you might be one person but guess what? That is a start. If a person sees you doing something? That will encourage them.

What is going on with this world won't be fix tomorrow. It won't be fixed within the next four years and it might not be fixed in the next eight years. Things take time. If anything? I would love to know the generations after us will have a future with no worries.

What about you? Are your friends driving you crazy?
