In which Bennet kicks ass
After weeks of not looking at my results I finally looked at my results and I got two high distinctions and two distinctions for last semester!

One of those HDs was for an exam that was a steaming pile of refuse which makes the mark even more surprising, but I guess the exam wasn't worth much. Either way, I'm glad all my hard work paid off because I nearly killed myself with the stress and the study last semester.
In other news, I'm watching Mad Men and my mind is being blown with every episode. Such good TV. I'm also enjoying Philip Pullman's Sally Lockhart series, both the books and the adaptations, which may not be as brilliant thematically as the His Dark Materials trilogy but is a heck of a lot more fun and features a heroine whom I don't want to strangle (I do want to strangle Pullman for the very bad thing he did in book 2 though). But more on that another time.
If it wasn't so hot I'd do a victory lap around the house but instead I'll just eat another gold covered chocolate coin.
