Commercial free premier

Just saw a promo on TNT for the January 12th premier and it's being advertised as "Commercial free"! Can only hope that means it contains additional footage. If show is running the full hour with no commercial breaks there would have to be more added to fill the whole hour right!?!?!?

Yes, you are right there were many scenes (especially Ben's) that seemed poorly edited and cut short. An additional scene at the hospital would be ideal. I always thought him running into Chickie in the hospital hallway and her non-verbal interaction with Ben was a little off somehow, but it did lead to one of my favorite scenes, that of Ben and Henry's sister.

I too find it hard to believe that anything as important as Ben initial contact with the "Burn Squad" was left on the cutting room floor. And of course I still long for that scene when Cooper has to defend his actions in not stepping in when Dewey did not let Ben finish searching the suspect. I know it's surprising to hear ME say I want to see a CRC scene, but in my head the investigation would uncover that the training officer did not do his job, in turn putting everyone in danger and putting Ben in that terrible position on his first day!

I know that scene will never happen, but maybe we will get something extra and hopefully like you mentioned it won't be just added bookended commercials before and after the pilot.
