Y'all gon' make me lose my mind, up in here, up in here
I moved into my room a bit later than scheduled on Saturday (mainly because Suzie had to stay up late because Kyle broke his ankle skateboarding Friday and they had to sit for a million hours in the 'emergency room') but that was all right because my roommmate Meaghan had already moved all her stuff in. I managed to get all my boxes, my T.V., and my fridge inside within about twenty minutes. I love this townhouse. Our room is big, we have satellite radio even though we're in the basement, and all of our housemates are the shit. Kathleen (down here in the basement with us) is awesome...We're very similar in attitude and music preference. We live with the R.A. of our buidling but that's cool because Heather is very fun. Kristin and Heather live upstairs in singles. Our last housemate, Sarah, is supposed to be moving in today.Saturday evening was a blast, haha. Meaghan and I needed some things so we were on a mission to find Wal-Mart. We did not find it right away but we did find a Price Chopper (which Meaghan had never been to before, which I find odd because it's a New England company). We then asked an old couple in the parking lot if they knew how to get to Wal-Mart and they told us just to follow them in their truck. Nice old couples rock. Once we got back we headed out to Casino Night in Sullivan Lounge which was filled with creepy freshmen, haha. I did pretty well at the blackjack tables but roulette killed me.Yesterday was another fun-filled day. While Meaghan took a nap, I went downtown and looked for a job because I am so very, very poor. I applied at Wal-Mart, talked to a lady at Price Chopper, and have a very good chance of getting a job at the local Subway. Once I got back Meaghan and I just kind of hung out, watched T.V.--a Red Sox game, surprise!--and chilled with the rest of our housemates. We all went out to dinner at 5 and it was make your own sundae night, so I did. It was good, with the strawberries and whatnot. Mmm. We just lounged around for a while longer after that before heading out to a party with a Sigma sister over on Blackinton. We were only there about two hours before the cops showed up. We weren't in any trouble but they did make us leave. Bastards. A bunch of people came back to our apartment with us and we were going to watch 'Super Troopers' because Frank had never seen it, but that didn't happen. Last night was entirely too much fun. =)
