(no subject)
So as I wait for my Intro to Digital Photography class to begin I thought I'd update.....
- Just got out of my typography class...the critique went better than I had expected. After the hundreds of sketches and drafts on the computer I think I've finally gained some knowledge about letter forms (YAY). He thought I had great range with my work and could recognize that I actually understood the design aspects I've used (rather than just guessing at it like I had done before). Still need to go back and edit my final logos a bit but I can't wait to finally begin a different project.
- So yesterday I was supposed to devote the entire day to my typography logos since they were due today but nooooo....i was bombarded with distractions. Since I live in an alternate universe blinded by homework I wasn't aware that Simple Plan decided to release their Hard Rock Live concert that I went to a few months ago on DVD. Once Laura informed me that there was a small picture of us in the booklet and there were a bunch of close ups of us during the concert I was torn from my homework and rushed out to Best Buy to get my own copy. I must say I was very pleased to see Laura, Leigh and I looking all gross in the crowd. We made the dvd for simple plan and now we're on their second dvd...this has worked out so nicely :)
- Another distraction from my day of homework was Wallace and Gromit. Ringling students got a free screening of it last night so I figured I couldn't say no to a free movie. It's was a cute film...the guy next to me was probably wishing I'd stop saying Aww every time I rabbit appeared on screen but I just couldn't help myself.
- I think I may be getting sick...the past few mornings I've had a slight sore throat so that's obviously not a good sign. I wish I had time to rest but it just doesn't seem to fit in my schedule of stress.
Hmm I could rant on about a few more things but the subject matter is a little too sensitive to discuss on this site and class is starting so I must go. Toodles.
