Wow, those are some eclectic and interesting sounding courses... I'm curious to see which ones you'll choose.

wait, how would you be taking 3rd year Arabic and 4th year Arabic at the same time?

Also, I wish CCP offered such interesting classes....

because my arabic is in shambles, so I'm in the awkward space between them. I'll probably end up in 4 but I'm shopping both to be sure.

No real comments based just on the titles. But after you've been to them, I'd really appreciate you posting whatever thoughts/summaries you have based on your shopping experiences, like you've done a couple times in the past. I love that.

AIDS is good - not the best AN class I've taken, but solid and there's usually a good group of people in it. But if you're not preregistered it'll be impossible to get into - 30 person limit and there's often 100+ who show up...

I'm still having pangs about the Arabic. I feel I need some sort of Middle East exorcism.

Also, Anderson (AN100) is a leader in the field -- I hit him up for thesis help. And Weinstein is great; if anyone is going to get you through Faulkner, it's him. His Literature and Medicine course is also very good.
