Audible.com
So, here's the scoop. Juleann got me hooked on this website called bzzagent.com. It's super cool, it allows you to try things for free. It's a word-of-mouth advertising site, but let me tell you, it works! The reason that I'm bringing this up is because today there was an offer to try this website called Audible.com. It's an audiobook website that's really cool. It's got LOTS of books to choose from and it works really well with the iPod. For anyone that's interested, the link to use would be audible.com/bzzpassalong This gets you a free 1 month membership (though you must enter a credit card number [this is not charged I verified it]) and it also gets you a free audiobook download. These downloads can be played from the computer as well as put into a program such as iTunes and used on the iPod. If nothing else, it's worth it to get the free audiobook. I downloaded my audiobook and then cancelled my membership right away. It was that simple and now I don't have to worry about forgeting to cancel the membership and being charged. It's only $14.95/month if you choose to continue the membership and you can get discounts on other audiobooks before you cancel if you like. I just thought I'd pass along the info since half of my friends are book fanatics, and the other half are electronics fanatics.
