i came home, and then the tears fell...
Yesterday was pretty sweet. I went to see 2 movies with my aunt and my cousin that i havent seen in the longest time. I love spending time with them, even if its something as boring as going to the movies.
***So anyway, when i got home, it was like... 8:00. I walked in and i layed down on the couch and mom was sitting there. She kept looking at me really strange, but she wouldnt say anything. So i decided to go into my room and listen to Good Charlotte. Well...as soon as i got up, mom said "come here Em, i need to tell you something." i freaked in my mind like "omg..what happened!?" but i couldnt say anything. I just stood there beside her. She looked at me and said "karen had a seizure today at work..." tears rushed to my eyes. Karen, or KoRn as i call her, is my moms bestfriend, and she's one of my bestfriends as well. We just had lunch with her last week at Macados, and now shes laying in a hospital. I just slowly sunk down into the chair, and cried silently. Mom looked at me and said "i know, i know.. she's going to be ok, tho. Dont worry,sweetie" but i was still really upset.Mom had to go to work today, so she called and told me Karen wasnt there. She said that they think she had a seizure because she had an allergic-reaction to some medicine she was taking. I just pray to god that she's going to be ok from now on.
