Feeling like loose ends are being tied up. My roommate left Sunday morning and it's really bizarre having that entire side of the room really empty and bare. I took advantage of the situation by rolling around on his bed in my stinky underwear and being fascinated by how different the room looked from his side of the room. Sleeping nude and farting freely are big pluses of living alone. "Nonplussed" is a fucking sweet word. Yesterday at Piccola's, neither one of the delivery drivers and the other cashier didn't show up, so I suffered through 5 hours of severely hungover work and took comfort in the fact that the next day (tonight) would be my last hellish shift there. Can't fucking wait to be done, although I'll miss the free Italian food.

Just took the last exam I was worried about, Spanish. I studied very minimally. I think I did okay, but it's over and done with and it feels good not to think about it, even if I did shitty. Got a Poli 107 exam tomorrow and an online Afram Studies exam whenever I feel like it. Then I pack up my shit and bid a fond farewell to the sterile white walls of Brandt Hall. I'm gonna try to put some of my stuff in storage before I go home Friday since we're selling the house in Norfolk. Not that my mom wants to; my dad wiped out their shared bank account and refuses to make any payments on the house after June 1st, so she doesn't really have a choice. As much as my dad sweet talks his kids, he's a fucking asshole to my mom.

The Mancub tour is shaping up to be fucking sweet. Tentatively it's: Chicago, Bloomington, Columbus, Lexington KY, DC, Richmond, Norfolk, Raleigh, Greenwood SC, somewhere in GA, Tallahassee, Gainesville, and then we'll either drive home or do shows in Pensacola and/or Alabama if they work out. The only show I'm kind of worried about is Georgia... that might have to be a day off. Recording the for real Mancub album begins and possibly ends on Thursday. Then I'm going to throw some art together (hopefully Emily Jones will help me out with that again) and hopefully split release it between Fall of the West and Valiant Death. In other musical news, I found a dude named Kyle who is apparently a sick drummer and is interested in playing pop punk jams with me. Tony and I have a lot of cool musical shit going on, like a garage-y semi-hardcore band that will cover The Wipers and Gray Matter. There is a chance I might also be rejoining Negative Threat on drums instead of vocals, replacing the guy who kicked me out before. Irony. Hopefully me being gone for a good portion of the summer doesn't fuck these projects up. I have been listening to Kid Dynamite for like 12 hours straight. It's not even fucking noon yet.
