I've never been to NYC, but reading this makes me feel like I have been. Your descriptions of the city are so vivid and natural... you took me on a tour. I also loved seeing the Met through Sam's eyes. It was exactly how I'd imagine him experiencing it. Awesome!

Because obviously, you don't want readers to be bored with too much info, but you don't want them to constantly ask themselves what the hell is going on because you're not providing enough detail.
