Note: It's just fun. Pointless PWP. Blame Zan and the pirate name generator for that (the pirate names are obviously from there). Many many thanks to beloved Arie for the überquick read-through. Arrrr!

"Throw him overboard, throw him overboard!" Luis triples excitedly from one foot to the other, never taking his eyes from the shivering man captured in their middle.

"Yes!! On the plank! On the plank! Or maybe I can cut him into pieces, to make it easier for the sharks! Arrrr!"

As soon as John makes the suggestion the prisoner's pale face becomes even paler. He tries to shy back, but quickly he realises that he is surrounded by stinking pirates that are having great fun seeing him scared to death and that there is no way to escape. He's lost.

"No, please!" He tries to convince them. "I-I'm sure my father will pay well! He will pay you in gold and silver. I-I assure you that he will not harm you! Please, don't kill me!"

He's pleading, his eyes are filled with tears. He tries to tell himself not to cry, to be a strong man and keep that last bit of dignity. Yet, it only seems to amuse the men as they laugh out loud at him.

Eventually, one of them speaks. "Do you have a clue how much gold there is in the bunt of this ship? Do you really think we need your father's money?" The pirate laughs - Sami, they had called him earlier. "Money is only good if it's looted, when you work for it." He points to an ugly scar that runs across his cheek before he continues, "Do you get that son?"

"Can we throw him overboard now? Come on guys! Let's get rid of him already!" The little pirate with the long, black hair again. He's much smaller and weaker than the others. But then, when the pirates captured his ship, when they killed everyone but him, that little pirate was the first to attack, probably because he is much faster than the others. Right now, he is still tripling excitedly from one foot to the other.

"I'll cut off his arms first. He won't need those anymore." John concludes.

Quickly strong hands, black with dirt and dry blood, grab his upper arms, pulling him closer to the red-haired man with the heavy sword. He tries to free himself, but the grip on his arm is too tight, too firm to escape.

"Stop it, uncivilised bastards!!"

A loud voice, a firm voice full of authority. There's this other pirate, the one that had been quiet all the time - when they slapped him hard across the face and pushed him back and forth, when they had their fun with him.

"You're not going to do anything to him until the Captain decides so! And now piss off!"

He glares at the other pirates and they do as he told them without questioning him or trying to put up much of a fight. He is definitely a person with a lot of authority among all those rats. The other pirates scatter, mumbling and cursing as they go back to their usual works. For a brief moment the young prisoner relaxes. Is he safe now? Or is it going to get worse?

Slowly, the tall pirate - he has a few very bad scars too and seems to be missing an eye, at least this is what the young man assumes to be the reason for the patch - approaches to grab him by the collar of his fine shirt and drags him along. He opens a door that leads to a rather comfortable cabin, full of heavy, wooden furniture, posh furniture. Quickly he sits the prisoner down on one of the massive chairs, just before he ties him down. The pirate grins broadly as he leaves the room again, closing the door behind him.

Alone. No stinking pirates with dirty hands and bad teeth. This room looks actually rather cultured, rather like home. There's a slight hint of style. However, he knows not to expect too much from pirates, that's one of the first things his father Rafael always told him. Pirates are murderers and rapists. They have no mercy, but great love for blood and gold and booze. He definitely knows not to expect anything. He sighs in frustration, this is definitely not the glorious way he wanted to die one day. He had dreamt of dying in a battle, as a great fighter and not by being thrown into the sea from a plank.

The minutes seem not to pass though. In his mind he wonders what this ominous Captain might look like, what he might be like, this heartless Captain who is feared by everyone in the Caribbean, because of his murdering and conscienceless crew. Maybe he can be convinced to make a deal with the Governor to redeem his son.

All the young man wants is to live.

When the door opens he is suddenly very scared again. The Captain. He dares not look at the pirate, does not want to risk his life with unwise behaviour. But when the door is closed and he hears only the footsteps of one man, he thinks that maybe, only maybe, one little glance might be ok.

Slowly, he turns his head to look at the Captain and when he finally sees him his heart almost stands still. This is definitely not what the expected him to look like. The Captain is a young man, his face almost scarless, his hair slightly golden. He's also taller than he expected and stronger. The face looks somewhat familiar, but the prisoner couldn't tell whom he reminds him of.

With heavy footsteps the Captain approaches, steadily comes closer to him. Eventually, he sits down opposite from him, on the dark table. He even smiles at the young man.

"So," the pirate says, with a voice much softer than the prisoner had expected it to be, "so, you are Governor Rafael's only son? And you are my prisoner. What a lovely combination, don't you think?"

When the Captain smiles down at him he ponders for a brief moment whether he should simply say 'no'. Quickly, he concludes that this is the only reason why he's still alive. He's a valuable asset, no matter what they are planning to do with him. If he makes them believe that he's a common sailor, then he'll be dead in no time. In the end he concludes not to say anything.

"You are not talkative, are you?" the Captain asks, he offers another slight smile. "I know that you are, so let's skip this question. What is your name then?"

With finishing the sentence the Captain places his hand lightly on the young man's thigh. There's a huge scar in the middle of the hand, if the prisoner didn't know better he'd say it's the work of a dagger being jabbed through the palm. He can't help but stare at the hand that is resting on his leg.

"That scar? Your father's work, Xabi. It fucking hurt, but was worth it. Did you ever see the huge mark across his chest? That was me, Xabi."

The young man freezes, why does this outlaw know his name? What else does he know about him? Still, he decides not to say anything, at least then he won't say anything wrong that might offend the Captain and bring Xabi closer to death.

"Xabi, you don't have to be afraid. We will not kill you. You have my word." He smiles again and this time Xabi can't hold himself back.

"Ha! How much can one trust the word of a criminal?"

Xabi glares at the other man, who - thank God - does not get angry and does not change his mind about the 'we will not kill you' promise, instead the pirate only laughs softly and squeezes Xabi's thigh slightly.

"So, you actually can speak." He laughs again as he kneels down in front of Xabi.

"Let me go, outlaw! I'm sure that my father already sent out ships to seek and free me. Do you really think that you are strong enough to fight against the entire armada of the Governor? Let me go and we will forget about all this."

Xabi looks down at the other man with determination. But as soon as the pirate laughs at him softly, Xabi's confusion and unease are immediately back.

"I like your passion, Xabi. However, I don't think that your father's soldiers would attack the ship you are held on as a hostage. We still could kill you anytime. That would be sad, because you are a pretty one."

With finishing the sentence the Captain's hands move up Xabi's thighs, dangerously close to his crotch. Xabi can't help but kick out and hit the pirate's shin.

"Ouch!" he curses when being struck. "You'd make a good pirate, Xabi. Fearless and quick."

The Captain gets up and sits down on the table again. Xabi uses the moment in which neither speaks to look closely at the other man, to study his fine, soft features. He so does not look like a pirate. And he reminds him of someone he knows. Dress him in normal clothes and you would not be able to identify him as a pirate at a state banquet. He looks more like one of Xabi's kind. A noble man in the wrong clothes.

"You wonder why you are here, right? And why we didn't kill you yet and why you are such a valuable hostage, don't you Xabi?"

Xabi nods slightly, he just can't explain it. What are they after if not more gold and silver? What is the sense of keeping him alive? It will only get them into trouble.

"We have more in common, Xabi, than you think," he pauses before he goes on, "I know everything about your mother and how you lost her at a young age, Xabi. I know everything about the pirate that killed her in front of your eyes. That hurt, didn't it?"

Xabi swallows the lump in his throat. Thinking back to the day his mother died, when he was seven years old, is still painful. It still hurts him and he still hears her desperate cries, when the pirate stabbed her. Is it so surprising that he and his father hate pirates so much and that they set it as their lifetime goal to fight them and make the sea safe again? Xabi glares at the pirate. He's one of those bastards. Xabi tries to get up, jump onto him and choke him here and now. The rope makes it impossible though.

Slowly, the pirate approaches, stepping behind Xabi. A strong hand is placed on Xabi's shoulder before the Captain eventually continues, "You know, Xabi, I've lost my mother like that too. One week after he killed yours, he killed mine. In front of my eyes."

The Captain becomes quiet and then suddenly it hits Xabi.

"Stevie," he whispers before he turns his head to look at the other man. Why didn't he see it sooner? Of course this guy doesn't look like a classical pirate. How long has it been since they have last seen each other? 10 years?

Stevie smiles and squishes Xabi's shoulder gently. "Yes, it's been a while, hasn't it? I think you were 16, last time I saw you."

Xabi wants to ask millions of questions at once. Why did he disappear from one day to the other? And why did he become a pirate, when his father was a close friend of the Governor and Stevie himself the secret lover of the Governor's son? Why did he chose the life of an outlaw and make everyone believe he died?

Suddenly, Xabi feels how the rope falls from his wrists. Stevie grabs him and pulls him up to his feet. For a brief moment they stare at each other before Xabi captures Stevie's lips in a fierce kiss. The taste of Stevie in his mouth immediately feels familiar, even though it has been years since they shared their last kiss. Their tongues tangle, probing each other, it's just like back then.

When Stevie finally breaks the kiss because they both have to gasp for air, Xabi punches him hard.

"Stupid idiot!" he shouts, "How did you dare leave me, let me think you died somewhere at the sea!"

Stevie rubs his jaw and smirks at Xabi once more. "Did I say that I love your passion, Xabi?"

Xabi can't help but giggle before he claims Stevie's lips again. When Stevie sucks his lower lip roughly, he hisses. Stevie takes a step away from him to see that Xabi's lip is bleeding, covered in dark red liquid.

"Did any of the bastards touch you, Xabi?" Carefully, he strokes the other man's back.

Xabi shakes his head before he tells Stevie, that they only slapped and punched him a few times but that nothing worse happened. Quickly, Stevie calls for Jamie to bring him a bowl of fresh water and a clean cloth.

"Everything fine, Captain?" the one-eyed pirate that had brought Xabi into the cabin asks. Stevie nods and takes the bowl and clothes from his hands. Quickly, Jamie leaves again.

"Sit down, Xabi," he orders, before he bathes the white linen cloth in the clear water. Carefully, he swabs the blood from Xabi's lip. Xabi hisses in the moment the fabric connects with the wound, yet he does not complain.

When Stevie is done and puts the bowl aside Xabi looks at his long-lost lover. He is amazed about how much Stevie has changed, so much that he didn't recognise him, but that's probably normal when you have been living on the sea for so many years. Xabi though didn't change a bit, apart from turning from a teenager to a young man.

"Stevie, I don't understand. Why did you capture me? Why did you run away? Why did you become this? I just don't get it."

But Stevie only lays one of his fingers on Xabi's lips to silence him. He brushes a quick kiss over them before he speaks eventually, "I don't think this is the right time to discuss this, Xabi."

Stevie pulls him up and slowly starts stroking the small of Xabi's back. As he leans over to kiss Xabi again, his lover moves away from him.

"Indeed it does matter, Stevie. You don't capture me and kill all those men for no reason. If you wanted to see me again you wouldn't have had to break the law. You could have had this easier."

The pirate cocks an eyebrow, knowing that there is not much sense in discussing with his lover, there never has been.

"Xabi," he explains, "wanting to see you was one of the reasons. I, erm, how to tell you, Xabi? You know, your father's decisions might be different when you are my hostage. Erm, so, I want to propose your father a deal and you being here, with me, makes this all easier for me."

Again Xabi's fist connects with Stevie's jaw as he punches him hard. Xabi's move is so fast that Stevie has no chance to react. "How dare you use me like this?" Xabi is furious and only with quite some efforts Stevie can prevent him from hitting him once more.

"Let me explain, Xabi!" Stevie struggles with holding his lover's hands down in order to prevent a bigger fight. "When I disappeared a few years ago, I started searching for the pirate that killed our mothers. I had the impression that the Governor's fleet was not doing anything about it, thus I had to take charge of it myself. I found him, Xabi, I found the bastard. And I nearly got him! But each time I am close to confronting him your father's armada is in my way. That's why I need you, that's why I need you as a hostage. When you are my hostage I can make your father agree that his ships will no longer interfere in my business. Do you understand? I'm doing this for both of us!"

Stevie breathes hard as he expects Xabi to attack him again. He had hoped that they could sort things out in a friendly way, in a way lovers do and he would hate it if he had to tie Xabi up and treat him how hostages are usually treated.

Instead of hitting him, Xabi lowers his gaze and focuses on the floor in shame. "Oh, I didn't know, Stevie. I-I'm sorry."

Stevie grabs his lover's chin and forces him to look at him before he kisses him fiercely. Xabi opens up and let's Stevie slip his tongue into his mouth. Both conclude that there is no need to talk at the moment and that there are nicer ways to celebrate their reunion.

Xabi moves his hands up and down Stevie's back, stroking him. Slowly, Stevie walks him over to the bed to lay him down. He smirks at Xabi, before he teases Xabi's nipples through the thin fabric of the shirt with his teeth. They become hard instantly as Stevie nibbles them gently. In the meantime Xabi relaxes, enjoying the sensation of Stevie's hands sliding over his body.

Xabi shivers as his lover reaches for the buttons of his shirt, opening them one by one, revealing Xabi's beautiful, flawless chest. When Stevie's tongue moves over his torso, teasing dark little nipples, making him shiver, it feels like a fresh summer breeze on Xabi's sensitive skin. Xabi sighs appreciatively, it just feels so good. It's been years since he's allowed someone to touch him like that, and he definitely missed it.

Stevie quickly finds his way to the pants of Xabi's dark blue uniform. With slick fingers he opens the heavy leather belt with the golden buckle. Xabi shivers as Stevie shoves his cold hand into the warmness of his underwear and when Stevie wraps his fingers around Xabi's cock he shivers again, this time it's lust.

Xabi releases a disappointed moan the moment Stevie removes his fingers. But as soon as he realises that Stevie only wants to discard all fabric he finds himself smirking. Before Stevie pulls off Xabi's shirt and his pants and underwear down, he kisses Xabi passionately again.

"By the way, Captain," Xabi pants, "Do you treat all hostages like that?"

Stevie grins broadly, "I'm a pirate, Xabi."

But when he sees the shocked look on Xabi's face he quickly continues, "Of course I don't."

Xabi sighs in relief, smiling at his lover. Stevie might be feared as heartless and cold, as the most dangerous pirate in the Caribbean, but Xabi knows better, knows that he isn't.

Just to remind him of where they've stopped Xabi pushes up his hips against Stevie, grinds his semi-stiff cock against him. They both release a little moan before Stevie draws his attention to Xabi's needy body and the unnecessary clothes.

Once they got rid of the annoying fabric - the sailor's boots gave Stevie a hard time and Xabi had to help out and show him how to open them - Stevie's lips taste the flawless body underneath him, he murmurs soft words of astonishment against the soft skin, tickling it with his breath. He is amazed by what has become of the young boy he used to know and love. Steadily, he nibbles and licks his way towards his lover's crotch. Xabi whimpers at the sensation of Stevie stroking his cock softly.

Stevie places a few kisses on the tip before he slowly lets the head slip between his lips and teeth into his mouth. Xabi moans as Stevie takes it in even deeper and starts massaging the underside with his tongue. He almost forgot how good it feels. He's definitely hard as a rock now.

Xabi's hands run through Stevie's hair, massaging the back of his head encouragingly. Not that there was any need to keep him in place, but just in case. Xabi throws his head back as his breathing becomes shorter. Involuntarily, his hips buck up, pushing his cock even deeper into the warm wetness that is Stevie's mouth.

A little bit of teeth and tongue, a little bit of nibbling and sucking and Xabi is quickly in a state of high ecstasy. Then Stevie pulls away. Xabi's eyes are closed and when he opens them he finds Stevie smiling at him. Slowly, Stevie starts undressing himself. Too slow, thus Xabi decides to speed things a bit up by lending him a hand and by working his way to Stevie's pants. It doesn't take them long until Stevie is as naked as Xabi.

For a brief moment Xabi just lies there, staring at his lover's body. Whereas Xabi's body can be described as flawless and spotless, Stevie's is far from that. His strong chest is covered with a considerable amount of scars. Small ones, but also a few ugly, big ones. Stevie doesn't say a word as Xabi reaches out to touch them, to run his long, delicate fingers over the marked skin.

"Life as a pirate, Xabi," he says eventually. Xabi nods before Stevie continues, "Are you comfortable?"

Xabi nods again, laughing softly, "This is neither home nor a first class tavern and there is a spring poking into my back, but apart from that I couldn't be better."

Stevie chuckles as he lays down on Xabi and claims his lips in a fierce kiss. Their erections rub against their stomachs, definitely increasing the heat. Both are panting and groaning into the other's mouth as Xabi reaches with his hand between their bodies. He feels how Stevie slightly shivers as he grabs their cocks and starts stroking them firmly. Almost simultaneously they start moving, thrusting into Xabi's hand and grinding their erections against the other's.

Their pace becomes faster and their moans louder as the arousal increases. Xabi can already feel the quivering in his thighs that tells him that he is close to release and judging from Stevie's fast, unnatural breath it must be like that for him too.

And then, orgasm finally hits him. Xabi thinks it's one of the most wonderful, purest feelings he's ever had. How he wishes it to last. He is withdrawn from his thoughts as Stevie thrusts one last time into his fist, before he comes hard onto their stomachs and chests.

For a brief moment they simply lie there, panting against each other's skin.

"Stevie?"

"Hmmm?" the Captain murmurs in post-coital exhaustion.

"You have to promise me something," Xabi pauses, waiting for Stevie to look him into the eyes, "Promise me that you'll never leave me again."

"I promise," he says before he kisses Xabi again passionately.
