Robert’s head bangs against the door with a loud crack. As he looks Tiago in the eyes he sees that they’re black with fury. The usually so relaxed, laid-back man - who never fails to have a stupid joke at hand - stands face to face to him, pressing him against the door, pinning him down with the weight of his body. Robert struggles, tries to free himself. He fails. Bloody athletes, he thinks.

“Stop. Behaving. Like. A. Fucking. Braggart.” Tiago’s words come out of his mouth slowly. One by one, clearly spoken. He’s fucking angry, he’s in a state Robert never had seen him before.

Robert’s not scared - Tiago wouldn’t bash him here, in the dressing room, when there is danger of the other players coming in anytime, would he? - but he is definitely at unease. Quickly he tries to think of what it could be that made Tiago become furious and what he would have to say to calm the other man down and make him let go.

But with Tiago pressing him so hard against the door, taking his breath away it’s not that easy to think straight.

“Stop. Behaving. Like. The. Fucking. Star player. That. You. Aren’t.” More angry words.

Suddenly it dawns on Robert. Oh, it must have been the earlier comment that you don’t deserve being a Chelsea player if you’re not a player with your national team and that Robert himself is now. What’s the deal? Tiago does play for Portugal, doesn’t he?

“Maybe you should think. Robert, a bit before you. Speak.”

Yes, think. Robert tries to think whom he might have upset with that statement. Enough to make Tiago react like that. But he can’t think with the Portuguese almost taking all his breath.

He just doesn’t know, but he is quite sure that there is someone in the team that means a bit more to Tiago than he would admit. Interesting, the least. He shall keep that in mind.

Robert knows that an apology is the fastest way out of this situation. Thus he mumbles a half-heartedly ‘sorry’ in Tiago’s direction. He doesn’t mean it, never will. Both of them know it, but they’re simply tired of this.

“I should make you write it down on paper, idiot.” Tiago hisses, though he knows that this wouldn’t change anything, that there is no way in changing Robert’s way of thinking. But at least he feels better. And he knows that he will feel less miserable too. And Robert, well, Tiago couldn’t care less.

Eventually, Tiago let’s go of Robert, glances one last time at the young German, before he leaves the dressing room. Fucking idiot.
