A good friend of mine nightcyde made an interesting reference to back to the future in his journel a little while back, and I would like to reference some other movies from around that time frame. My point really is, whatever happened to the good action series? Die Hard? Lethal Weapon? Hell even back the future well at least the first and maybe second one could...maybe be considered an action series. Now a days we have the matrix and lord of the rings, but hell we had the alien series back in the day that was sci-fi as well. So why not start a new action series? Sure batman just came out but there remaking those because the old ones were crappy as hell. I mean die hard, and lethal weapon were original, today we have movies like the bourne identity and XXX trying to make a series and just don't feel like it is having as much of an impact as the older series did. I almost forgot Indiana jones as well, of course I have heard there trying to make a new one but who knows if it will ever happen, what they gonna have harrison ford in a walker? Just had to make a rant about those. Well I just recieved an interesing e-mail and it sounds like I am missing some fun at home again...figures a good friend of mine visits from out of town and once again I cannot join them to go to a nice restaurant but hey I am serving my country and yada yada yada this shit is really starting to get old as far as the shit of me being over here and active army. Tell you what any you dumbasses at home think about joining the army national guard think again. This shit is not fun. Being away from your family and friends for 18 GOD DAMNED months is not fun. Fuck this Fucking shit, sorry if my language offends anyone that reads this(which I am sure very little people actually do so that is why I feel I can curse all I want). Anyway miss everyone, and hope everyone is having a good school year if your in school, and if your not hope your job is at least slightly fun. Go team
