I finally heard back from the folks at Aussiecon after sending in my membership almost a month ago. I sent in my nominations this morning.

Obviously, I did not make full nominations in some of the categories and that's because I did read or see a lot that would qualify. I would have liked to nominate Bacigalupi for the Campbell but apparently his short stories have been published since the mid-2000s.
