Went to Davenport today (one of the Quad Cities) to buy some more books at Borders,

Gates of Fire is supposed to be a pretty good novelization of the Battle of Thermopylae and a lot better than Frank Miller's 300. I'm a little ambivalent about buying Viriconium as it tends to generate mixed feelings in readers, but I figured I'd see what the fuss is about.
After Borders I ate lunch at Fuddruckers. They have some tasty burgers and one of the best Cajun Chicken Sandwiches I've ever tasted.
Oh yeah, I'm going to mow this afternoon too. I'd rather do it today than wait until the week and do after work.
