it was a pretty good weekend.
good show friday. Theios was fun afterwards. Usually I have a great time there after shows, but sometimes I don't. Fortunately this was well worth it. It was nice to see certain people whom I don't get a chance to hang out with too often. very nice indeed. after thieos i went and hung out with kelly at her apartment. good times.
oh yeah, plus sam grover came back to michigan. how kick ass is that.
Saturday, Ben, sean and I went to "Ladyfest". It was interesting. There was an abundant amount of feminist lesbian types. nothing wrong with that, i just think we stuck out like a sore thumb. none the less..it was cool. I must thank mr. murphy for his suggestion of the newer mad caddies CD. KICK ASS. Its been a while since I've been able to get into the ska thing again. This band is great though...it reminds me of old time ball room dance music or somthin. It makes me wanna get my groove on. its sweet, oh so very sweet.
three more weeks. only three more till my first year of college is over, which means my first summer after college is about to be here. I intend to have a VERY good time this summer. aka..I'm ready to go all out, by any and all means necessary. I wouldn't mind just living out of my backpack for a couple weeks. ya know, just end up somewhere and be there. "go with the flow" so to speak...
we'll see what happens. We are going out on tour for a week or so, and I am going on a vacation with the fam..so besides that I'm up for whatever. I've thought about the possibility of going to the Bonaroo music festival. I think that would be a helluva good time. anyone wanna go? ya'll gots to be ready to party.
I'm going to see Talib Kweli this thursday at the msu ballroom. it will be interesting..i can't say i've ever been to an all out hip hop show. warped tour has rappers every year..but thats still warped tour. so this should be cool.
