As it happens to be with life...
We often take people for granted. We just assume that they are aware of how we feel about them. Could we possibly be more wrong?
After someone has passed away, you sit talking about all the good things. You have so many wonderful things to say about the person...yet it never comes up until it's too late.
The Women, The teacher...The mom...
Kate Curran. My first grade teacher. My 'at school' mom. A women of incomparable patience and faith. I cannot find words better than those of my friend Amanda:
"if i can be half the woman {person} she was...i will be a fucking amazing person...she raised her son tim to be one of the most outgoing, loveable people i've ever met. she had a child with disabilities and she made him get out there and do everything and meet everyone "
Along with many others, I echo all you've said about Kate. I had her for my first grade teacher as you know. When I was in first grade, I had a horrible problem with anxiety...and she helped me with it, she'd be my 'mom' at school.
She was an amazing women, and her memory will live on forever...
I'm happy because I was fortunate enough to have Ms Curran touch my life...She made a lasting impression on me...
So I say to you good friends...
Let people know how you feel. Tell them you love them. Never end a day in a fight, and always appreciate the people in your life. They will be gone someday, have you done all you can to show them how important they are to you? It's not too late, start now...
"Learn as if you were to live forever, and LIVE as if you were to die tomorrow..."
I think you all already know this, but just in case, I love You
As Always, Myself-
