Top or bottom? That's the almighty question of the gay community, as if there aren't enough obstacles in the gay dating world. Although the question may bare some relevance in the bedroom, it is not something a guy wants to hear on the first date. In some cases, this particular discussion will arise even before the first date; nothing lost, nothing gained. So if discussing your position in the bedroom is what you choose to do on a first date, stop an think about it first. Let it out in the open before you go out, that way you won't have to deal with the awkward moments afterward. There won't be an awkward silence followed by an awkward goodbye and more importantly, nobody will have wasted any time. So just be up front and honest; if you must know, just ask! Make sure that it's an appropriate time and place, and you're all set! There's no harm in being inquisitive, just don't expect to hear what you want every time.
