BG sudoku championship

so now it is up to me to make the puzzles for this year's BG sudoku championship... in a week... ouch :) 
so i need to learn quickly.
good thing is, i guess i am a good learner ;) (and thomas has written some things that should help, hopefully)

Hand-writing everything is hard if you haven't done it before. I find using this site is helpful if you get stuck with a puzzle design that's not yet solvable. The solution count button (and to a lesser extent the grader) can help a lot, especially as you can make small edits in some digits to see if you are down to 1 solution, with a good difficulty. Even using the site, I'd still test the puzzles by hand as their grading isn't perfect.
